Hello, as you are aware there is a farm in DoA that does foundry, called 3 man foundry. I can do both foundry + city in about 1 hour 09, my last record, with drops worth about 40k. Not bad for 1 hours work eh?

Anyways, I was wondering whether it was possible to do stygian veil? My mate managed to do the first quest of it, but thats about how far he got, and even that was very, very hard.

Also, is there any way I could make my run faster? I am on pain inverter rather then spirit shackles, makes a lot of difference to the times.

Also, is there any way to aggro all the 3 boss groups near jadoth at city all at once without shanur killing the smiter? I ancestors visage near him on his own and its fine, but with Jadoth chucking his interrupts? I don't think so...

Also, nobody does this farm anymore, hardly, yet it is such a good money maker, why is this?

Also, feel free to disscuss this farm.

Well, i am wondering in general, why Doa is empty, since with cry of pain, you can pretty much complete the whole qeust in 1-2 hours, giving a lot of gems in total. 2 those runs (or 3) and you have ambrance. Why nobody is doing it?

I suspect there are many groups but they are guild/alliance groups which form and do these runs regularly The Cry of pain runs do require I think a lot of coordination and communication and as such I am not sure many pug groups form which is why the area does not seem full although the runs are being done. Cryway groups are seen I think in german district at times though

Noone does this farm because full runs are better.

I'd love to know which build you are talking about. Presume 600/smite/ranger?

Yup, this is a 600/smite/famine team. I do this run regularly with a guildie and its nets me quite alot of gems. Be warned though, the 600's job can be difficult without someone to teach them how to kill the fury/jadoth etc.

Ive never tried to farm doa and i sort of passed thru it when doing nf so i cant comment on builds etc.
But from what i have seen in kamadan there must be plenty of people farming it for gemsets - that or they are lucky and get gems from coffer of whispers ( think thats the other way to get them ).As Godsie stated id guess the farmers use ts or vent and maybe they do full clears and are guild farms rather than pug.stygian veil mite be covered somewhere on the forum - swear i seen it mentioned so have a search about.

Ele pl - just because you dont see ppl doin it doesnt mean no1 does it at all - i could go int dist at for eg dajkah inlet and no1 could be there but in usa/asia/euro dist there could be in total well over 100 ppl.Chantry of secrets is often a bit quiet but before i assume uw/fow isnt being farmed i know toa usually is the meeting place for farmers and toa is often busy.
